Plator City

Plator Town - Gym: Dark - This is the oldest town in the region. It's notorious for a mysterious group of bandits stopping by and stealing anything they. Fortunately, the gym leader is plenty tough enough to handle them should they show up. This town is also the home of an ancient site with many ruins which the leader studies ofter. The Pokeathlathon Stamina Courses are held here.

Brandon: Hm. This is a pretty big place for the oldest city in Shuinn.

Zak: Sure is. I'm surprised.

Ian: Wanna battle Zak?

Zak: Sure. You first. Heh.

Ian: We need to decide on the terms first.

Ali: (sits down on a bench and watches with Nami and Shay)

Fertileaf: *fires them and they hit Blaze underground, runs from the site*

Ian: Good thing I planned for that then, huh? Leech seed is like your signature move!

As Blaze bursts out of the ground, it is revealed he flamed the leech seeds. He uses Flamethrower all around Fertileleaf.

Zak: Clap!

Fertileaf: Ferti! (claps with its emormous arms and blows out the flames then runs)

Zak: Charge up a solar beam!

Fertileaf: (begins to store solar energy while it's running)

Ian: Good. I've been wanting to try this out. IRON LEAP THEN FLAMETHROWER!

Blaze hits the ground with iron tail, launching into the air (repeatedly) so fast that he cannot be hit, while launching a flamethrower.

Zak: Now!

Fertileaf: (launches solar beam to block flamethrower then tosses razor leaf up at Magmosaur)

Ian: Block them with a midair Iron tail, then launch yourself to him!

Iron tail blocks the leaves, while Blaze uses flamethrower on the ground to send himself over to Fertileleaf, then lands and uses flamethrower on it.

Fertileaf: (grabs Magmosaur and slams it into the ground and hits it with a solar beam it'd charged up then falls over) @.@ Fer..ti...

Ian: C'mon, Blaze, you can get up.

Blaze slowly and weakly stands up.

Ian: Rekindle.

Zak: You can't do that! (throws Machop's pokeball)

Machop: (emerges) Ma! (lands) Chop.

Zak: Focus your Energy!

Machop: (Begins to focus)

Ian: Dig!

Zak: Now! Karate Chop the ground!

Machop: (Karate Chop's the ground, scoring enough power from Karate Chop's high critical hit ratio doubled by Focus Energy. The power is enough to force Magmosaur out then machop uses Karate chop on its head and jump back then flexes) Machop Ma!

Ian: It's not over, but I know my pokemons' limits. Blaze, return. Uni, go!
